The Senator Representing Funtua Senatorial Zone Hon Muntari Mohd Dandutse have organized a special prayer session in funtua zone for sustainable peace and stability in the zone and katsina state in general.
Senator Muntari Dandutse said it become necessary to invite all lmams , mallams, ulamas, and sheiks from both izala and darika sects to offer prayers for divine and spiritual interventions against the incessant insecurity in the zone.
He said presently God has began to answer our prayers as there is significant improvement in security situation in the area, where reconciliations and negotiations with the bandits is yielding positive results.
Senator Muntari Dandutse who is a historian academically spoke at length on the importance of reconciliation which paved ways for dialogue to enable peace reign in many countries.
He said there is nothing bad in holding talks with bandits to end killings cattle rustling and kidnapping for Ransome.

The senator also shade some light on achievements recorded during his two years in office saying that over four hundred youths are trained on pos business,in which about 1.7b naira have traced as turnover through various transactions in one year term.
He said there are various empowerment programs for all categories of people in the area through provision of mean of business, provision of Keke napep, motorcycles, fertilizers,food items, vehicles,among other things.
Alh Muntari Dandutse said his stewardship has also provided several solar Street lights, construction of township roads, construction of earth dams, multiple purpose skill acquisition centre, e library, renovation of police station as well vehicles for security agencies.
HON Muntari Dandutse disclosed that there are several schemes ,plans and arrangements to be introduced for the economic well being of the people in the zone.he also announced the donations of hundreds of bags of maize, Guinea corn and rice to the Eleven local govt of funtua zone to those in need .
Senator Muntari Dandutse called on the people in the area to also continue to pray for peace and stability as well as supporting governmental programs and policies.
The Senator commended the state Governor Dr Dikko Umar Radda PhD con for his upright support to funtua zone by executing various developmental projects in Funtua .
