The Executive Chairman of Zaria Local Government Council, Engr. Jamil Ahmad Muhammad (Jaga), has attended the wedding Fatiha of the Sarkin Kudun Zazzau and District Head of Zaria and Environs, Barrister Sambo Shehu Idris, who was joined in matrimony with Princess Asma’u Abdulmumini Kabir Usman, daughter of His Highness, the Emir of Katsina.
The solemn and colourful ceremony was held today Friday 9th January 2026 at the Emir of Katsina’s Palace, Katsina State, and attracted eminent traditional rulers, government officials, religious leaders, and well-wishers from across the country.
A statement signed by the chief press secretary office of the chairman,Ishaq Galadima said the Chairman’s presence at the event underscores his administration’s commitment to fostering cordial relationships with traditional institutions and strengthening intergovernmental ties.
