The Chairman of the Committee for the movement of creation of karaduwa state Alh Kabir Aliyu maska has inaugurated 11 coordinators of the Eleven local govt areas in funtua senatorial zone.
The coordinators who were drawn from the Eleven local govts of Funtua zone are selected based on their capacities and capabilities in the crusade for creation of karaduwa state initially.
Speaking during the inauguration ceremony the Chairman Alh Kabir Aliyu maska disclosed that during their executive meeting it was resolved that coordinators should be given the responsibility to manned the affairs of their respective local govt areas.
He explained that although all necessary measures and plans were taken, there is the need for the coordinators to sensitize and mobilize the rural populace in the efforts to secure the agitation for the creation of karaduwa state.
Alh Kabir Aliyu maska stated that, so far the executive committee has presented a memorandum to both senate and house of representatives committees on creation of karaduwa state in Kano and Kaduna during their public hearings respectively.
The Chairman said there was some significant improvement and a ray of hope, as over 72 Senators have endorsed the bill for the new state sponsored by funtúa senatorial zone senator muntari mohd dandutse.
Alh Kabir Aliyu maska maintained that the movement for creation of karaduwa state is in line with the provisions of the constitution of federal republic of Nigeria.
Alh Kabir maska expressed his appreciation to the state governor Dr Dikko Umar radda PhD con for his upright support to the movement of creation of karaduwa state.
Also in his remarks, the secretary for movement for creation of karaduwa state, Eng Tukur lawal funtua charged the coordinators to be proactive with serious commitment towards achieving desired objectives.
He traced back the history of the movement for the creation of karaduwa state which started several years ago with the participation of our forefathers . Eng Tukur lawal said a master plan has been drawn to ensure that the movement hasn’t drained in any manner.
The secretaries also called on both coordinators and the citizens in karaduwa zone to remain committed and law abiding with that regard. Some stakeholders and some coordinators have spoken at length on the need to redouble their efforts in achieving desired objectives.
Highlights of the occasion was the presentation of banners, appointment letters to the coordinator.
