The Emir of Zuru, Alhaji Muhammad Sanusi Mika’ilu Sami, Sami Gomo III, has made a remarkable gesture by converting a N100 million gift from his business partners, Green Way Agrotech, into a donation to the Federal University of Agriculture, Zuru.
This is contained in a statement signed by Alh Abdullahi Idris Zuru,Sadaukin Zuru, issued to newsmen. It said that this act showcases his commitment to education and the well-being of his people.
According to the statement,Specifically, the Emir announced that the N100M should be used for research purposes and payment of scholarship for qualified indigent students whose parents couldn’t afford the monetary requirement for admission.
Sanusi Sami Gomo lll further observed that his decision will considerably complement the efforts of the state Governor Comrade Governor Nasir Idris in improving the standard of education in Kebbi State.
The Emir believes his appointment was destined by Allah, and this act is a way of demonstrating gratitude to Allah for His favour and blessing.
