Gombe State Head of Civil Service, Prof. Muazu Usman Shehu continues his Unannounced tour to Key Ministries, Emphasizes Punctuality and Work Ethics.Gombe State’s Head of Civil Service (HOCS), Prof. Muazu Usman Shehu, has continued his unannounced tour to government ministries with visits to Ministries of Women Affairs and Social Development, Youth and Sports Development and Higher Education.
He reiterated the importance of punctuality, work ethics, and commitment to duty, urging civil servants to reciprocate the present government’s gesture of prompt payment of salaries and outstanding gratuities to Civil Servants and Pensioners in the State.
In a statement signed by the Information officer, office of the state head of service said Prof. Shehu assured staff of a conducive working environment, citing the ongoing construction of an modern state of the art Secretariat expected to be completed before the end of the tenure of present administration.
The Permanent Secretary of Min. Of Higher Education, Bldr. Ahmed Guli and DAF of Women Affairs and her counterpart in the Min. Youth and Sports Development welcomed the visit, and stated that it will go a way in boosting the morals of Staff and also an indication that the new HOCS has a plan to rejuvenate the civil service.
The HOCS was accompanied to the tour by senior officials of the OHOCS including Permanent Secretary Alh. Suleiman Musa Kwami and Directors.
