The State Government has again expressed its readiness to partner with anybody or group of individuals who wish to contribute their quarter towards fighting insecurity across the state.

  The State Acting Governor Mani  Malam Mummuni Masamar Mudi made the assertion today while speaking at the turbaning ceremony of seventeen Bungudu  citizens who were conferred with different traditional titles by Bungudu emirate.

Mani Malam Mummuni Masamar Mudi said the present administration of Governor Dauda Lawal is giving priority attention to the fighting against all forms of banditry activities across the state, hence the need for people to intensify prayers towards successful eradication of the menace.

The Matawallen Bukkuyum who congratulated the newly turbanned for their conferrals, changed them to justify the confidence reposed on them,as they  were selected by the emirate based on merit and their dedication and services to humanity.

Earlier, the emir of Bungudu Sarkin Fulani Alh Hassan Attahiru said those turbanned by the emirate were selected based on merit, their notable achievements, contributions to the emirate and service to humanity.

Alh Hassan Attahiru thanked the acting Governor and his entourage for attending the occasion and prayed to Allah SWA to reward them abundantly.

In a vote of thanks on behalf of the remaining sixteen newly turbanned with different traditional titles, Bungudu local government council chairman Alh Nura Abdullahi the new Mayanan Bungudu thanked the Emir of Bungudu for finding them worthy to be turbanned,and assured to justify the confidence reposed on them.

A statement signed by the Press secretary, office of the state deputy Governor,Shehu Adamu Gusau said the  acting governor was accompanied on the occasion by the chief of staff of government House Alh Mukhtar Mohd Lugga Wamban Maru, and attended by the emirs of Gusau,Maru,Kaura Namoda and Kwatarkwashi among others.
