Zaria Local government chairman launches fertilizer distribution, visits the scene of Tragedy and attends a campaign rally .

Chairman of Zaria Local Government Council, Engr. Jamil Ahmad Muhammad Jaga, had a day filled with significant activities. Earlier , he flagged off the distribution of fertilizer to beneficiaries at the Babban Dodo Redemption Center (Works department) under the intervention initiative of His Excellency, Sen. Uba Sani.

A statement signed by the special adviser/ chief press secretary to the chairman Ishaq Galadima said the program is designed to support hardworking farmers, boost agricultural productivity, and enhance food security in the communities.

Later in the day, the Chairman responded to a tragic accident involving two fuel tankers in Danmagaji that resulted in a fire, claiming lives and destroying valuable properties.

According to the statement, the chairman  urged everyone to join him in praying for those who lost their lives and properties. May Allah grant the departed Aljannah Firdausi, comfort the grieving, and restore what has been lost.

The Chairman commended the swift intervention of the Federal Fire Service, Zaria Area Command, and the Kaduna State Fire Service, Kofar Doka Station, whose timely efforts contained the inferno, prevented further escalation, and saved properties worth millions of Naira.

In the evening, the Chairman led the APC campaign rally for the upcoming Zaria Kewaye bye-election in support of the party candidate, Engr. Isa Haruna Ihamo. The campaign rally covered Dutsen Abba, Kufena, and Tukur Tukur Wards, where the team received overwhelming love, solidarity, and support from the people.

The Chairman appreciated the Campaign Management team, Support Groups, party stakeholders, and every loyal member for making the rally a huge success. He expressed confidence that with the prayers, trust, and votes of the people of Zaria Kewaye constituency, Engr. Isa Haruna Ihamo will deliver meaningful legislation, development, and progress to the constituency.

The Chairman extended special thanks to His Excellency, Sen. Uba Sani, CON, and Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, PhD, GCON, for their unwavering leadership, guidance, and support. Maintaining that “Together, the council will continue to serve, protect, and advance the interests of the people.”
