The Executive Chairman Zaria local government,Hon. Engr. Jamil Ahmad Muhammad (Jaga) received a courtesy call by a group of newly passed-out soldiers of the Nigerian Army Depot, Zaria, who are indigenes of Zaria Local Government Area.
During the visit, the chairman commended their courage, resilience, and patriotism throughout the rigorous training, describing their successful graduation as a source of pride to their families and the entire Zaria Local Government Area.
Eng Jamil Jaga reminded the soldiers that their conduct in service would reflect on their communities, urging them to uphold the core values of the Nigerian Army, respect constituted authority, and remain loyal to the unity, peace, and security of Nigeria.
He further encouraged them to serve with honour, professionalism, and dedication, particularly in the protection of lives and property nationwide, while wishing them a safe and successful military career and assuring them of the prayers and moral support of the people of Zaria.
In a similar vein, the Chairman also received various groups and individuals, including the leadership of the Gwargwaje Women Multipurpose Cooperative Society, who presented him with an Award of Excellence in recognition of his sustained support for women empowerment and the development of Zaria.

These engagements reaffirmed the Chairman’s unwavering commitment to national service, grassroots development, and inclusive governance for the advancement of Zaria Local Government Area.
