
The Wife of Chairman of zaria local government,Hajiya Hauwa Ibrahim Yakubu, had led an entourage on a condolence visit to the Minister of Environment at his family residence in Unguwar Bambale, Zaria, following the demise of his mother, Hajiya Dayyiba Lawal.
During the visit, the First Lady described the late Hajiya Dayyiba Lawal as a “mother to all” — a devout, humble, and community-driven woman who lived a life of faith and service.
She prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the departed Jannatul Firdaus and to give the entire family the strength to bear the loss.
Hajiya Hauwa Ibrahim Yakubu also paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Wamban Dawakin Zazzau, Aminu Pate, at their residence in Unguwar Lemu Kwarbai, Zaria, where she commiserated with the family over his passing and prayed for Allah’s mercy upon his soul.
In continuation of her engagements, the First Lady visited the family residence of Alhaji Samaila Tajudeen at Tukur-Tukur Layout, Zaria, to celebrate with them over the birth of their newborn baby, Tajudeen. She later proceeded to the home of Alhaji Ismail Yesko to also celebrate with his family on the arrival of their newborn baby, Fatima, at Unguwar Nagoyi of Gyallesu ward, Zaria.
A statement signed by the chief press secretary to the chairman of the local government Ishaq Galadima said dhe was accompanied by the wife of the Vice Chairman Zaria Local Government, the wife of the council secretary Zaria Local Government Council and Hajiya Halima Babale (Saiyada), and her team.
She reaffirmed her commitment to supporting families across Zaria, extending compassion in times of loss and sharing in moments of joy, in line with the administration’s dedication to community welfare.
