The Chairman of Zaria Local Government Council has presided over the 12th Executive Council Meeting of the Council, during which members deliberated extensively on key governance, administrative, and developmental issues affecting the people of Zaria Local Government.

A statement signed by the chief press secretary office of the Chairman, Ishaq Galadima said the meeting focused on strengthening service delivery, enhancing grassroots development, and ensuring that ongoing and proposed interventions across the wards are effectively implemented for the benefit of the populace.

Following the Executive Council session, the Chairman received delegations of youth groups, women associations, and community leaders at his office.

The visiting groups included the Tudun Jukun Youth Development Association, Tudun Jukun elders led by Alhaji Saleh Moriki (Mai Unguwan Layin Zamfara), Kungiyar Jajayen Awaki da Zawarawa, as well as other active youth groups within the local government area.

During the engagements, the Chairman attentively listened to the concerns, proposals, and expectations presented by the groups and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance.

He emphasized that meaningful development can only be achieved through continuous dialogue, openness, and collaboration between government and the people—particularly youths, elders, and women who remain critical stakeholders in community development.

The Chairman assured the delegations that their inputs would be carefully considered as the Council continues to pursue policies and programmes aimed at building a united, inclusive, and prosperous Zaria Local Government.
