The Zamfara state acting Governor who represented Governor Dauda Lawal, Mani Malam Mummuni Masamar Mudi has commended the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) for its continuous efforts toward protecting the interests of Northern Nigeria.
A statement signed by shehu Adamu, chief press secretary office of the deputy governor said he made the remarks while delivering a goodwill message at the ACF’s 25th annual meeting and the launching of endowment Fund, held at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Conference Centre in Kaduna.
Speaking at the event, Mani Malam Mummuni urged the ACF to remain steadfast in championing initiatives that will restore lasting peace to Northern Nigeria and the country at large.
He expressed particular concern about the persistent insecurity in the North-West, where armed groups continue to terrorize communities.
The Deputy Governor reaffirmed the unwavering support of the Zamfara State Government for all initiatives aimed at advancing the progress and well-being of the North and its people.
He also acknowledged the vital role played by the Northern Governors’ Forum, emphasizing that Zamfara’s contributions to regional development are reflected in the collective efforts of the governors.
He concluded with prayers for the continued growth of the ACF and for lasting peace to return to Northern Nigeria and the nation at large
