The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Zamfara State Chapter under the leadership of Dr. Jamil Jibo Magayaki (Ajiyan Birnin Magaji) wishes to officially announce and celebrate the defection of two distinguished members of the Zamfara State House of Assembly — Hon. Sulaiman Hassan Bosko, Member representing Mafara I Constituency, and Hon. Nura Dahiru, Member representing Birnin Magaji Constituency — from the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) into the great party, the PDP.
Their decision to join the PDP is a clear reflection of the deepening crisis, internal rancour, and poor leadership currently destabilizing the APC in Zamfara State.
Faced with confusion, lack of direction, and absence of credible leadership in their former party, these honourable members have chosen the path of progress, stability, and purposeful governance.Hon. Bosko and Hon. Dahiru have openly acknowledged that they were inspired and attracted by the exemplary leadership, reforms, and people centered governance of His Excellency, Governor Dauda Lawal.
The governor’s commitment to security, infrastructure, transparency, and restoring the pride of Zamfara has continued to draw massive goodwill and support across the state.
