The Speaker of the federal house of representatives,Dr Tajudeen Abass has congratulated Nigerians on the feat recorded by the three shining stars of Nigeria – Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu, Rukayya Muhammad Fema, and Hadiza Kashim Kalli – for emerging world champions in English language communication skills and debate at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Competition in London, UK.
He said at just 17, Nafisa was crowned Overall Best in English Language Skills.
At 15, Rukayya dazzled as the Overall Best in Debate.
Hadiza’s brilliance earned her the Outstanding Talent Award (Gold Medal).
According to the Speaker, these super-talented young women have not only brought pride to Nigeria but have also reaffirmed my belief that with the right opportunities, Nigerians will always break barriers and excel – anywhere in the world.
Coming right after our D’Tigress lifted the 2025 FIBA Afrobasket trophy and the Super Falcons won the WAFCON, this achievement further strengthens my campaign for girl-child empowerment and gender inclusion in leadership and nation-building.
As Speaker, I remain committed to strengthening our education sector because a strong foundation in basic education is the seed for national greatness.
