The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Education, Zaria, Prof. Yahaya Isa Bunkure, alongside members of the University Management to a demonstration session of the institution’s upgraded portal.
The session, held at the University’s ICT Directorate, showcased the enhanced features, improved user interface, and expanded capabilities of the portal, which has been redesigned to support a more efficient experience for staff, students and visitors.
In attendance were the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Suleiman Balarabe, the Acting Registrar, Mal. Shehu Iya Sa’idu, other Management members, Directors and Deans, as well as representatives of the students’ union.
During the presentation, the ICT team demonstrated key upgrades, including new design features for admission and registration processes for candidates and students, improved access for users, and a more compelling and responsive layout.
Speaking at the event, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Bunkure commended the team for its dedication to delivering a platform that meets the institution’s evolving needs, adding that the upgrade aligns with the University’s drive for harnessing technology to enhance interactivity and accountability
A statement signed by Sani Lawal Maqarphy, media aide to the VC said the demonstration session provided an opportunity for those in attendance to interact with the system, ask questions, and offer suggestions aimed at further refining the portal before full deployment.
