Training Institutions within Chindit Cantonment comprising Depot Nigerian Army Zaria, Nigerian Military School and Army School of Physical Training held joint West African Social Activities (WASA), yesterday 17 January 2026 at the Regimental Sergeant Major Hama Kim Parade Ground Chindit Cantonment Zaria.
The grand event had in attendance the Commandant Martin Luther Agwai International Leadership and peacekeeping centre as the Special Guest of Honour, the hosts, the Commandant Depot Nigerian Army Zaria, Major General AB Mohammed; Commandant Nigerian Military School, Brigadier General ON Ejiga; and Commandant Army School of physical training, Colonel G Bello.
Other dignitaries present were the Commandant Nigerian Army School of Infantry, Major General FS Etim, NAOWA Zonal Coordinator, Zaria Chapter, Mrs Saadatu Mohammed; officers, soldiers and their families within the entire Chindit Cantonment as well as friends and well wishers
A statement signed by Captain Chikadibia Viola Anele Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations Depot NA Zaria said the event featured meal tasting, cultural displays, comedy amongst others.
