….As Northern Governors, APC Stalwarts Attend Kaduna Food Distribution
Nigeria’s First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu said the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led federal government is strategizing with increased commitment to make Nigeria great for the country to take its rightful place in the comity of Nations.
This was contained in a statement signed by Mal Mamman Mohammed DG press and media affairs to the Yobe state Governor made available to newsmen.
She stated this today in Kaduna at the launch of distribution of food items to Christian Northern Nigeria Political Forum, organized by the office of the First Lady in collaboration with the office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political Affairs and other Matters.
The first lady noted that every Nigerian has a role to play in building the country, promoting peace for development and economic prosperity.
The first lady identified the role of musicians, film actors and other celebrities in promotion of peace and peaceful coexistence, as well as sensitizing Nigerians on patriotism for development and economic prosperity.
“My office is ready to collaborate with the musicians and film actors to work towards entrenching peace, patriotism and building the economy” Remi said.
She commended Alh. Masari, for keeping the flag of support to vulnerable persons flying, reflecting a deep understanding of inclusion, compassion and providing crucial support for Nigerians.
The first lady provided N100m support to the beneficiaries while the office of the Senior Special Assistant on Political Affairs provided 48,000 bags of 25kg Rice to support the beneficiaries.
His Excellency, Yobe state Governor, Hon. (Dr.) Mai Mala Buni CON COMN, along with his Northern counterparts and APC National Chairman also attended the occasion.
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, said the gesture was a show of love that gives a true sense of belonging to Nigerians especially vulnerable persons
.The chairman also commended Kaduna state Governor, Sen. Uba Sani for preaching and entrenching love and peaceful coexistence in Kaduna state.
Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani described the distribution of food items at this season of Christmas as a lifting spirit and a share of love with the poor and vulnerable who need it most.
The Governor also commended the SSA political and other Matters, Alh. Kabiru Masari for lifting others and renewing their hope for prosperity.
“The show of love and support at this moment exemplifies the true virtue of love and compassion to uplift the weak, vulnerable, and service to humanity” Sani said.
