STRENGTHENING SYNERGY: Commandant Nigerian Army School of Military Police visits Formations and Institutions within Kaduna State

The Commandant, Nigerian Army School of Military Police (NASMP) Brigadier General Onalo Yakubu recently paid courtesy visits to the General Officer Commanding 1 Division Nigerian Army, Director General of Defence Industries Cooperation of Nigeria (DICON), Commandant Nigerian Army School of Infantry (NASI) and Commander Command Engineering Depot (CED) in Kaduna State.

A statement signed by Lieutenant Uzoma Egwu Ukpai ,Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations Nigerian Army School of Military Police said the visit is aimed at strengthening already existing synergy and collaboration between Nigerian Army School of Military Police and these formation and institutions, with a focus on fostering cooperation in areas of training, logistics and intelligence sharing.

During the visits, the Commandant was warmly received with the expression of commitment to synergize with NASMP.

The General Officer Commanding 1 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Abubakar Sadiq Wase assured the Commandant of the Division’s readiness to collaborate and synergize in ensuring a successful training activities.

Also speaking, the Director General, Defence Industries Cooperation of Nigeria (DICON) Major General Babatunde Alaya eloborated on areas of collaboration that has existed between DICON and NASMP, which he noted encompasses the training of their civilian security guards on Access control and physical security protection system.

Receiving the Commandant NASMP, the Commandant, Nigerian Army School of Infantry (NASI) Major General Frank Etim emphasized that NASI is always available to render support to help all achieve the mandate of the Nigerian Army.He urged the Commandant NASMP to train and produce officers and soldiers who will represent the the Military Police for the discipline it is known for.

The Commander, Command Engineering Depot (CED) Major General Oladele Arogundade assured the Commandant NASMP of his maximum support especially in areas that requires technical assistance.

Making his remarks during the visits, Brigadier General Onalo Yakubu emphasized that his visit is to cement the inter – institution and formation collaboration leveraging expertise and resources to enhance a reality training, professionalism, discipline and operational effectiveness in NASMP.
