STRATEGIC MEETING: PDP GOVERNORS FORUM TO HOLD HISTORIC MEETING IN ZAMFARA .

Zamfara state Governor , Dauda Lawal is to host governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for a strategic meeting in Zamfara State.

A statement by the spokesperson to the Governor, Sulaiman Bala Idris, indicates that the governors are expected to arrive in Gusau today Friday ahead of the meeting scheduled for Saturday.

According to the statement, the PDP Governors’ Forum will use the meeting to deliberate on pressing political issues, strengthen party unity, and explore collaborative developmental initiatives in their respective states.

Governor Dauda Lawal will host a dinner for the visiting governors tonight, while the closed-door session is billed for tomorrow.

The statement further notes that the governors will also address key concerns in preparation for the party’s national convention scheduled to hold in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, on the 15th and 16th of November
