Today, I join millions of Nigerians in celebrating our dear First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, as she marks her 65th birthday.
Her Excellency is not only a loving wife and dependable partner to Mr. President, but also an accomplished leader, an experienced lawmaker, a strong mobiliser of women, and a philanthropist whose life has been defined by service to humanity.
From her days as First Lady of Lagos State with the New Era Foundation, to her remarkable three terms in the Senate, and now through the Renewed Hope Initiative, Senator Tinubu has consistently touched lives – especially women, children, and the less privileged – across ethnic and religious divides.
Her choice to mark this milestone by launching the “Oluremi @ 65 Education Fund” rather than with fanfare reflects her enduring commitment to education and youth empowerment. Truly, she embodies the role of “Mother of the Nation.”
On behalf of the House of Representatives, I celebrate Her Excellency and pray that Almighty God grants her many more years in good health, wisdom, and strength.
