The Speaker of the federal house of representatives,Dr Tajudeen Abass has joined family, friends, and distinguished leaders in Zaria as we bid farewell to Hajiya Dayyaba, the beloved mother of my brother and Minister of Environment, Malam Balarabe Abbas Lawal.
The Speaker described her passage on Sunday evening is a painful loss, but we take solace in the mercy of Almighty Allah and the legacy of kindness she leaves behind.
The Janazah, held at the Emir of Zazzau’s Palace, brought together leaders across Kaduna State – Governor Uba Sani, former governors Ahmed Makarfi and Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, the Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Hon. Dahiru Yusuf Liman, the Emir of Zazzau, Amb. Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, members of the State Executive Council, local government chairmen, and many others – all united in prayers for her soul.
The RT HON speaker prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings, grant her Jannatul Firdaus, and strengthen the family she leaves behind. Ameen.
