In line with this commitment, the Speaker had a hectic engagement in Kaduna Yesterday, to keep a promise.
In September, at the Presidential Villa, he stood before President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and our brothers and sisters from the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) and gave my word. I said we would not only stand with Mr. President, but that we would build a nationwide movement – one that would speak to the people, mobilize conviction, and deliver a second-term mandate in 2027.
According to him,at the Kaduna meeting yesterday, that promise took flesh.
While in Kaduna Yesterday Dr Abbas Tajudeen had the honour of inaugurating the State Steering Committee for President Tinubu’s re-election, a body made up of strategic and committed leaders of the defunct CPC family.Their resolve was clear, their unity unmistakable, their mission unambiguous: to work, to mobilize, and to deliver.
He maintained that the gathering was not about speeches; it was about action. Not about noise, but about structure. Not about loyalty in words, but loyalty in motion.
The journey to 2027 is not a sprint – it is a steady march. We believe in this administration. We believe in the Renewed Hope vision. And we are committed to doing our part – state by state, ward by ward, door-to-door.
The work has begun. The movement is alive. And the promise made has now been honoured
