Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, Ph.D., GCON, has commissioned major military infrastructure at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja.
The projects commissioned includes officers accommodation,Niger Barracks extension,and strategic link road connecting key military facilities.
The projects commissioned will go a long way in boosting morale, improve efficiency and enhance the operational readiness of the Armed Forces.
Speaking while commissioning the projects, Dr Tajudeen Abass reaffirmed the National Assembly’s commitment to defence funding, personnel welfare, infrastructure and accountability reforms, while honouring the sacrifice of military personnel and the support of their families.
Also speaking the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, applauded Speaker Abbas for his leadership and strong support to the military.
