In tthe spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, the Executive Chairman of Zaria Local Government, Engr. Jamil Ahmad Muhammad (Jaga), today joined the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon.Abbas Tajudeen GCON, alongside other members of the House of Representatives, to observe Iftar in the blessed city of Mecca, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
A statement signed by the Abdullahi Abubakar lawal SA new media to Chairman, said the gathering took place in the spiritually uplifting atmosphere of the sacred city, where leaders reflected on the deeper lessons of Ramadan unity, humility, compassion, and commitment to service.
It was a moment of fellowship and prayer, as the leaders collectively offered supplications for peace, stability, and continued progress for Nigeria.
During the gathering, special prayers were also offered for the people of Zaria Local Government and the nation at large, asking Almighty Allah to grant wisdom and guidance to leaders at all levels as they continue to work for the welfare and development of their communities.
Such moments of spiritual reflection strengthen the bond among leaders and reinforce their shared responsibility to serve with sincerity, justice, and dedication.
