In Kaduna State , the Executive Chairman, Zaria local government,Engr. Jamil Ahmad Muhammad Jaga, has received several key groups and stakeholders in his office — all sharing a collective vision for peace, unity, and development in Zaria Local Government.
He hosted the leadership of CAN Zone 1 Chapter, who commended the Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, Ph.D., GCON, Speaker of the House of Representatives, for sponsoring some of their members on pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
A statement signed by the chief press secretary to the chairman Ishaq Galadima said the Chairman lauded the Speaker’s continuous efforts in promoting interfaith harmony and community cohesion.
Engr. Jamil Jaga also met with the Management of Zaria LGEA to review ongoing interventions aimed at strengthening the education sector and improving learning conditions across schools.
In a separate engagement, the chairman received SRC Shehu Mohammad, Outpost Commander RS1.13B Gwargwaje Command, to discuss strategies for enhancing road safety and local security.
The Chairman further welcomed the Igbo Amalgamated Traders Association, Tudun-Wada, who sought stronger partnership for a more enabling business environment.
Later, the Association of Local Government and Development Studies (ALGDS) led by Attahiru Aminu Gambo Qaya presented an Award of Excellence to the Chairman in recognition of his inclusive and impactful leadership.
Engr. Jaga appreciated all delegations for their visits, pledging continued collaboration towards building a united and progressive Zaria.
