The attention of the Headquarters 1 Division/Sector 1 Operation FANSAN YAMMA been drawn to a malicious report circulating online by Sahara Reporters claiming that”Kaduna Residents Protest Displacement of 18 Villages by Bandits, Closure of 13 Basic Schools”
A statement signed by Lieutenant Colonel Shuaib Umar, Acting Deputy Director Army Public Relations 1 Division Nigerian Army, sector 1 operation fansar yamma said this action is not only capable of sabotaging but also peace-threatening at a time when troops of the Nigerian Army and other security agencies are working tirelessly to ensure relative peace is enhanced in the communities within Kaduna State and environs.
While the 1 Division/Sector 1 Operation FANSAN YAMMA refuses to join issues with fake news purveyors, it’s is necessary to set the record straight and make clarifications.
The Division acknowledges that there is global terrorism and Nigeria is not totally immune against security challenges. However , there was no time that residents of the acclaimed areas protested in recent times as falsely circulated.
For the avoidance of doubt, residents in the villages mentioned are going about their routine activities without fear as troops of Sector 1 Operation FANSAN YAMMA are deployed and carrying out their routine patrols and other operational activities in the area.
