The Deputy Senate President has fulfilled the promise he made about 11 days ago, and has distributed 26 cars and 141 motorcycles to LG chairmen, vice chairmen, secretaries, and councillors of the 13 Local Government Areas of Kano North Senatorial District.
Senator Barau Jibrin made the promise on the 14th of February this year, during a Kano North Stakeholders’ Unity Meeting held in Kano,in which he pledged to provide vehicles and motorcycles to the leadership of the LGAs to enhance service delivery at the grassroots level.
The Chief of Staff, to the Deputy Senate President,Professor Muhammad Ibn Abdallah, represented him at the distribution ceremony.
The delegation also included my Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Hon. Shitu Madaki Kunchi, my associate, Alhaji Ahmadu Kabo, and other aides.
Speaking n behalf of the beneficiaries, the Chairman of Danbatta Local Government Area and Chairman of Kano North LG Chairmen’s Forum, Hon. Jamilu Abubakar Danbatta, expressed profound appreciation for the gesture.
