In Akwa Ibom State,operatives of the State Police Command, while on routine patrol along Abak Road in Uyo, intercepted a Toyota Corolla with registration number BRS 03 AJ.
The driver, identified as Ugochukwu Igwe, was stopped and a search of the vehicle was conducted. The search led to the recovery of several suspected stolen items, including:
• two truck batteries
• seven motor batteries
• several pieces of motor catalysts
• A motor condenser
• An alternator
Other valuable properties were also recovered from the vehicle.
A statement signed by the command public relations officer DSP Tomfon John said the suspect is currently in police custody and is undergoing investigation.
