The Commander, Nigerian Army Corps of Supply and Transport (CCST), Major General ND Shagaya, has paid an operational visit to Nigerian Military School (NMS), Zaria, where he commended the ongoing transformation and professionalism in the School.
He assured the school of his continued support.The CCST was received by the Commandant, Brigadier General ON Ejiga, after which he was conducted round key facilities of the school.
At the Mechanical Transport Department, the Mechanical Transport Officer briefed the CCST on the state of vehicles and personnel in the department.
A statement signed by Captain Olubodunde Oni, Acting Assistant Director army public relations, Nigerian Military school said Major General Shagaya expressed satisfaction with the briefing and charged the troops to sustain effective maintenance of the existing vehicles.
He further assured the unit of his intention to provide all necessary support to enhance training and general operational efficiency.
At the Catering Department, the CCST again expressed satisfaction following a briefing by the Catering Officer on the department’s activities.
He encouraged the personnel to continue to uphold teamwork and dedication in order to achieve overall success.
Being an alumnus of the school, Major General Shagaya also interacted with and encouraged the boys, urging them to remain disciplined and focused.
He commended the Commandant and staff for their commitment to grooming the boys into responsible future leaders.
The visit featured the presentation of souvenirs, group photographs, and moments of reminiscence, marking a memorable and impactful engagement.
