NIPOST :SIEZE CANNABIS CONCEALED INSIDE A DUVET COVER IN LAGOS.

The Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) has intercepted a consignment containing seven (7) pouches of cannabis concealed inside a duvet cover that arrived in Lagos from Thailand.

In a statement, by the Director, Corporate Communications, Mallam Ibrahim Musa, NIPOST indicates that details of the sender and receiver have been withheld as investigations are ongoing by the appropriate Security Agencies.

According to NIPOST, the interception underscores the  continued commitment of the agency to safeguarding the postal industry from being a channel for illicit activities.

The statement says in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Bola Tinubu administration, NIPOST reaffirms its  resolve to uphold the positive and productive use of it’s operations and logistics.
