
The Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Zaria, has hosted the second batch of officer-cadets from the Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna.
The delegation, led by Dr. Nwachukwu Clement, was on an excursion to obtain firsthand insights into the Institute’s operations, research activities, and specialised facilities.
Receiving the visitors on behalf of the Director-General/Chief Executive, Dr. Bayero Salih Farah, the Registrar, Dr. Maina W.A. Tarfa, welcomed the team, while wishing them a productive exercise.
The visit featured a PowerPoint presentation by the Press and Public Relations Unit, followed by a guided tour of the Transport Technology Centre (TTC), where the cadets were briefed by NITT engineers on key technologies, laboratories and innovations that support training and research in modern transport systems.
A statement from the press and public relations unit of the NITT said the excursion provided the cadets with valuable practical exposure and strengthened institutional collaboration between NITT and the NDA.
