…….Dep Senate President Senator Barau Jibrin Congratulates the 2022/2023 Batch B Police Recruits
The Deputy Senate President Senator Barau Jibrin has congratulated the 2022/2023 Batch B police recruits who passed out from the Police College, Kaduna, after months of rigorous training that prepared them for the complex realities of policing in the 21st century.
He was represented at the historic college by his Chief of Staff, Professor Muhammad Ibn Abdullah.
The Police College, Kaduna, is one of the premier police training institutions in the country, established in 1949.
Speaking on the occasion the College’s Commandant, AIG Okunade Ronke Nurat, said 760 general duty constables passed out during POP.
They are from Kaduna, Kano, and Katsina states.
Senator Barau Jibrin expressed optimism that, with the modern policing techniques and high-level discipline imparted to the cops during the training, they will make a significant contribution to policing our country.
He assured that the National Assembly will continue to provide the necessary support to the Nigeria Police Force, all security agencies, and paramilitary organisations to tackle the security challenges facing our country in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on security.
Professor Abdullah who represented the deputy senate President on the occasion, addressed the constables from Kano State. Each of them was given N50,000 as transport fare.
