The Executive Chairman of Zaria Local Government, Engr. Jamil Ahmad Muhammad (Jaga), joined the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State and Chairman of the Joint Account Allocation Committee (JAAC), Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, at the plenary session of the JAAC meeting for the month of September 2025.

It said the high-level meeting, held at the Ministry of Local Government Affairs Conference Hall, brought together key stakeholders including the Hon. Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos; Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. Mahmud Lawal; Special Adviser to the Governor on Local Government, Hon. Kabiru Yakubu Jarimi; Senior Special Assistant on Local Government, all 23 Local Government Chairmen, Deputy Directors of Finance and Budget, as well as representatives from SUBEB, RUWASSA, the Office of the Accountant General, Federal Pay Office, PHCB, Pension Board, and the Local Government Service Board.
The JAAC meeting is central to ensuring transparent allocation of resources and effective financial management across the 23 local governments of Kaduna State. By actively participating, Engr. Jaga reinforces his commitment to accountability, equitable distribution of funds, and improved service delivery in Zaria Local Government
