Over one thousand children have benefited from free circumcisions excersice organised by the Musa Adamu Network for Gwagware continuity in four local governments of Funtua Zone.
Speaking during the excersice in Dandume the Chairman of the organisation Comrd Mannir Mohd Sulaiman said that the gesture was aimed at reaching out to the less privileged at the local levels.
He said considering the weather conditions and the seasonal circumcision time it become imperative to assist parents in circumcising their children at free cost.
Comrade Mannir Mohd Sulaiman explained that the organisation is committed to providing health care delivery services to the rural populace with a view to alleviating hardship in the society,
The chairman recalled that recently the organisation have provided various drugs and medicaments for scabies in funtua free of charged,the gesture will continue touching different segments of human endeavours.
Also speaking the Musa Adamu Network for Gwagware continuity organisation causus chairman Alh Nura Suleiman Yandaki pointed out that the essence of forming the organisation is to compliment government efforts in providing succor to the less privileged.
Alh Nura Suleiman Yandaki said the name MAN was drive out of original name of the state commissioner of health Alh Musa Adamu funtua who has dedicated his life in serving and protecting the interest of his people.
He said it become necessary to encourage him as well as the state governor Dr Dikko Umar radda PhD in consideration to their tremendous achievements recorded in Funtua zone and the state in general.
He called people in the area to reciprocate the gesture through supporting governmental programmes and policies.
The local governments visited for the circumcisions exercise included Bakori, Danja,and dandume local governments areas,The other local governments will be visited in due course.
