The Katsina State Government earlier today Wednesday held a Security Council meeting at the Government House, Katsina, chaired by the Deputy Governor, Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe.
The meeting brought together heads of security agencies in the state, frontline local government chairmen, and representatives of the Nigerian Army, Defence Headquarters, Department of State Services (DSS), Nigeria Police Force, Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nigeria Customs Service, and Federal Road Safety Corps.
Also in attendance were the Secretary to the State Government, Abdullahi Garba Faskari; the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Dr. Nasiru Mu’azu Danmusa; the Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Fadila Mohammed Dikko; as well as prominent religious leaders.
Discussions centered on reviewing recent security developments, addressing persisting challenges, and strengthening strategies to enhance the safety, stability, and continued progress of Katsina State.
