The Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Nasir Idris, has reassured the people of Kebbi State of his administration’s commitment to improve more on security across the state despite the challenges.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Security, Rtd. Col. Danladi Hassan Ribah, disclosed this to newsmen shortly after the Governor presided over security meeting with heads of security agencies, local govt. chairmen, and critical stakeholders including past civilian Governors at the Government House, Birnin Kebbi, on Saturday.
The Special Adviser said, adequate decisions were taken to tackle the activities of Lakurawa and other criminal elements threatening peace in the state.
According to him, matters concerning the security of the state were thoroughly discussed, and implementation will be left to the security agencies.
“I want Kebbi people to know that this meeting has produced far-reaching measures that will curb the menace of Lakurawa and strengthen security across the state”.
Col. Ribah further reiterated that Governor Nasir Idris placed security as the top priority of his administration, and remained resolute in protecting the lives and property of all Kebbi people.
Former Governors in attendance were Sen. Muhammad Adamu Aliero, Alhaji Sa’idu Dakingari and Sen. Atiku Bagudu.
