KDSG TO PRIORITIZES RURAL DEVELOPMENT, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF ACCESS ROAD.

In Kaduna state, government  is currently constructing rural roads across for ease of transporting agricultural produce from agrarian communities to markets.

Parmanent secretary Kaduna state ministry of Agriculture Alhaji Umar  Abubakar Abba stated this during the second Quarter oversight activities to some of the benefiting areas across the state.

Alhaji Abubakar Abba Umar explained that the Governor Uba Sani administration is committed to providing access roads to  rural communities to boost farming activities and socioeconomic development of rural communities in the state.

He pointed out that the project is a collaboration between the world Bank and Kaduna state government under Rural Access and Agricultural market project RAAM aimed to encourage rural communities’  farming activities.

The permanent secretary charged contractors to ensure speedy work and maintain standard in the construction of the roads.

Also the project Coordinator Engineer Zubairu Abubakar noted that some communities that have benefited include  a three point five kilometer Gora  kwai  in Jaba local government area, Five point six kilometre Aduwan Gida to Padan Kaje in zonkowa,  zangon Kataf local government area.

He added that in Ikara local government area  over fifty kilometer  Fala  ,Sayasaya, masama gadas to Anchau  and 13 .4 killometer illa to Kofato in Igabi local government area ,Sabon Tasha , juji to unguwar Barde among others

The project coordinator stressed the need for road user and communities to continued to give their maximum support and cooperation to   roads constructors to achieved desired objective.

Engineer zubairu Abubakar stressed the need for contractors  to  remains dedicated to  do Quality  work as agree by  all stakeholders.

some  village head from the benefiting communities Mr, Christopher Dogara Dickson Gora village in Jaba local government and James Iliya village head of Aduwan gida in zonkowa zangon kataf local government area shares their opinion over the  ongoing rural road within their area..

One of the residence Miss Iliya Aduwan gida expressed appreciation over the kind gesture.

Also in their separate comment road users expressed happiness over the rural access road  and they narrated their  difficulties while carrying their farm produce to market and they thanked Allah for witnessing the development in their arees.

The RAAM project in Kaduna State under the project coordinator Engineer zubairu Abubakar  is committed to ensure speedy and quality work to maintain standard and all the ongoing Rural access roads constructions would be completed by the  end of this year 2025.

All the contractors handling various rural access roads project pledged to do quality work and timely handing over .
