Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has flagged off Phase One of the distribution of 600 transformers and 10,000 solar-powered street lights across the 23 Local Government Areas of Kaduna State.
He said this initiative represents far more than the deployment of equipment; it signals a decisive stride in our comprehensive energy reform programme and a reaffirmation of our unwavering commitment to inclusive, development-driven governance.
According to the Governor,this intervention is neither ad hoc nor symbolic. It is part of a carefully structured, statewide strategy to rehabilitate weakened distribution networks, replace vandalised installations, and restore reliable functionality to communities that have endured years of neglect.
Gov Uba Sani explained that energy is not a luxury; it is the lifeblood of modern society. Where streets are illuminated, insecurity diminishes, enterprise expands, and civic life acquires renewed vitality. Traders extend their hours with confidence, families move freely without apprehension, and neighbourhoods rediscover the rhythms of safe and productive coexistence.
