The Kaduna State Special Committee on Hajj, through its Sub-Committee on the Review of the Pilgrims’ Enlightenment Programme (BITA) chaired by Sheikh Halliru Maraya, formally submitted its report to the Chairman of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency.
The submission represents a major milestone in the State’s sustained efforts to enhance the preparedness of intending pilgrims for the 2026 Hajj exercise.
Over several weeks, the Sub-Committee undertook a comprehensive evaluation of BITA activities across all centres, with particular emphasis on programme structure, delivery methods, staffing adequacy, and overall effectiveness.
The report documents critical findings and provides practical, well-thought-out recommendations aimed at strengthening the enlightenment process, deepening pilgrims’ spiritual awareness, and ensuring comprehensive guidance ahead of the sacred journey.
Receiving the report, the Chairman of the Agency, Malam Salihu S. Abubakar, commended the Sub-Committee for its diligence, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to the assignment.
He assured that the Agency would give due consideration to the recommendations and take necessary steps to further enhance the quality of pilgrims’ education and welfare.
The presentation reaffirms the commitment of the Kaduna State Government to delivering a well-coordinated, informed, and spiritually fulfilling Hajj experience for all pilgrims
