JUST IN. VC FUE Zaria Appoints Dr. Mahmud NCEPP Coordinator, Names Deans

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Education, Zaria, Prof. Yahaya Isa Bunkure, has appointed Dr. Abdulrahman Mahmud from the Department of Biology as Coordinator of the NCE Part-Time Programme.

Additionally, the Vice-Chancellor has appointed new Deans for the four Faculties in the University, with Dr. (Mrs.) Benjamin Grace Uyagu from the Department of Curriculum and Instruction appointed as the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Education.

Also, Dr. Muawiya Haruna Usman from the Department of Mathematics has been appointed as the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Sciences, while Prof. Kabir Haruna Danja from the Department of Business Education has been appointed as the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Vocational Education.

In the same vein, Dr. Rabi’u Hussaini Ibrahim from the Department of Social Studies has been appointed as the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Arts Education.

All the appointments take effect from 25th September, 2025. The Vice-Chancellor, while congratulating the new appointees and assuring them of the full support of the Management, urged them to discharge their duties diligently and in strict accordance with approved rules, regulations, and other guiding principles of the University
