Hon Hussaini Mai Kero Inspects Multimillion Naira Projects in Kaduna South.

Hon. Hussaini Abdulkarim Ahmed Mai Kero, Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Host Communities and Member Representing Kaduna South Federal Constituency, inspected the multimillion naira internal road projects his office embarked on a few weeks ago across Makera Constituency of Kaduna South Local Government of Kaduna State over the weekend.

In a statement by his Special Assistant on Media and Communications, Sharifudeen Ibrahim Muhammad, Hon. Hussaini Abdulkarim Ahmed Mai Kero said the project inspection is an attempt to ensure high standards are strictly followed with no compromise in the execution of the projects.

Hon. Hussaini Abdulkarim Ahmed Mai Kero revealed that, for fair and effective representation, courtesy demands that internal road construction be executed across Makera Constituency, as it is crucial for enhancing mobility, facilitating trade, and improving access to social services such as healthcare and education.

The completion of these projects is expected to boost economic growth, enhance security, and improve the overall quality of life for residents.

The projects will also create jobs and stimulate local economic growth, benefiting market traders, farmers, and small business owners.

It would be recalled that Representative Hussaini Mai Kero began execution of road networks from Unguwan Sanusi Constituency down to Tudun Wada Constituency and Makera Constituency.

The Makera Constituency internal road projects, which are strictly supervised by the office of the Personal Assistant to the Honourable member, Alhaji Auwal Alhassan Gwadabe, are expected to be completed and ready for commissioning by the first quarter of 2026.

Alhaji Auwal Alhassan Gwadabe, the Personal Assistant, led the entourage that was greeted by a mammoth crowd of the Makera Constituents, accompanied by the Senior Legislative Aids, Hon. Nasiru Mikailu Liti (Chanji) and Hon. Nasiru Shawai.

The internal road projects that are currently under construction in Makera Constituency are: Zango Street, Unguwan Mission, Layin Duse linking General Pump linking Majalisa and Layin Ibrahim Makera to KTL Road.

Malam Jibril Ibrahim, the Chief Imam of Makera/Kakuri Jumu’at Mosque, who also joined the entourage of Representative Hussaini Mai Kero, urged the youth to cooperate with contractors in order for the projects to be successful.

At Unguwan Mission, residents turned out to welcome their representative, Hon. Hussaini Abdulkarim Ahmed Mai Kero, as he inspected the community’s major road that had been neglected for years by several governments and representatives.

Speaking on behalf of the youth, the Youth Leader of the community, Mr. Zakari Isa, expressed gratitude to Hon Mai Kero for prioritizing their community and appealed to contractors to engage local youth for project implementation.

Grace Giwa, who spoke on behalf of the women’s wing of Unguwan Mission, praised Hon. Hussaini Mai Kero for his dedication to improving the lives of his constituents and predicted a successful future for Kaduna South under his leadership.
