HECTIC DAY: CHAIRMAN ZARIA LOCAL GOVERNMENT ATTENDS TURBANING CEREMONY,PAYS CONDOLENCE VISIT.

The Chairman of Zaria Local Government Council was among a prestigious gathering of dignitaries who attended the turbanning of Alhaji Bashir Ibrahim Dabo as the Maga Isan Zazzau.

A statement signed by the special adviser/chief press secretary to the chairman Zaria local government Ishaq Galadima said the historic ceremony was presided over by His Highness, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli CFR, the Emir of Zazzau, at the Emirate’s Malam Abdulkarim Chamber.

The Chairman joined the distinguished array of leaders from across the nation, including Dr. Ahmed Adamu Mu’azu, former Governor of Bauchi State; Dr. Hadiza Bala Usman, Special Adviser on Policy Coordination to President Tinubu; Hon. Alhassan Ado Doguwa, representing the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Dr. Abbas Tajuddeen; Rt. Hon. Yusuf Dahiru Liman, Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, representing Governor Uba Sani; Alhaji Garba Tambari, The Emir of Maradun; Mohammed Abdullahi Dattijo, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN); and prominent Kano-based businessman Alhaji Auwalu Abdu Rano (A.A. Rano).

Later in the afternoon, following the ceremony, the Chairman paid a condolence visit to the family house of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Dr. Abbas Tajuddeen Ph.D, GCON, Iyan Zazzau. He joined the Speaker and other mourners in offering prayers for the repose of the soul of the late Wamban Dawakin Zazzau, Alhaji Aminu Iya Pate.

The Chairman’s participation in both events  illustrates his commitment to fostering strong community relations and paying respect to both traditional institutions and the families within his constituency during moments of celebration and grief.
