Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe state has attributed the improvement in security situation in the state to efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Speaking during the launching of this year’s state Agricultural empowerment programme in Damaturu,Gov Mai Mala said this has granted farmers access to their farmlands for Agricultural development.
The Governor who noted that over Ninety percent of the state population are farmers, Said this informed government decision to be more committed for the development of the sector.
He commended president Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the commitment of his administration to security which he said is yielding the desired results, with more people engaged In farming activities.
The Governor also commended security agencies for their resilience and sacrifice to restore peace and security in the state and the country as a whole.
While highlighting his administration achievements so far,the Governor said over the years,his administration has given due attention to all the critical sectors,such as healthcare delivery, Agriculture, education,road construction amongst others to improve the lives of the citizens.
He therefore charged the people of the state to continue to support government policies and programmes aimed at moving the state forward.
