GOVERNOR BALA MOHAMMED MOURNS THE DEATH OF HON . YAKUBU GARBA TELA , CHAIRMAN DAMBAM LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL .

The Bauchi State Government has announced the death of the Chairman, Dambam Local Government Council, Hon. Yakubu Garba Tela, who died this Saturday after a brief illness.

This is contained in a statement signed by Mukthar Gidado, Special adviser media and publicity to the Governor issued to newsmen.

The statement said Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, on behalf of his family, the Government, and the good people of Bauchi State, expresses heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of the deceased, the people of Dambam Local Government, colleagues in the local government system, and indeed the entire state over this great loss.

It added that Governor Mohammed described late Hon. Yakubu Garba Tela as a dedicated public servant, grassroots mobilizer, and community leader who devoted his life to the service of his people and the development of Dambam Local Government.

It further noted that the late Chairman will be remembered for his humility, commitment to duty, and the positive impact he made on governance at the grassroots level.

The Governor prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings, grant him eternal rest, and give his family, associates, and the entire people of Bauchi State the fortitude to bear the painful loss.

The funeral prayer of the late Chairman was conducted today Saturday at Misau Central Mosque  2:00pm .
