The Bauchi State Government, on behalf of the government and good people of the state, we heartily felicitated with His Excellency, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, CON, Fnipr (Kauran Daular Usmaniyya )the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, on the occasion of his 67th birthday anniversary today, Sunday, 5th October, 2025.
As we celebrate this special day, we reflect on the life of a leader whose trajectory epitomizes hard work, resilience, patriotism and unwavering commitment to public service. From his humble beginning as a Journalist , a Level 8 Federal Civil Servant, Governor Bala Mohammed distinguished himself through diligence, discipline, and excellence, rising through the ranks to become a Federal Director before voluntarily retiring to serve his fatherland in higher capacities.
His foray into politics was marked by an equally outstanding record of service. As a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, he stood tall as a voice of courage and reason, sponsoring landmark motions and bills that advanced the cause of democracy and good governance. Notably, his famous motion on the Doctrine of Necessity remains a watershed in Nigeria’s democratic history, reaffirming his statesmanship and deep understanding of national issues.
Governor Bala Mohammed’s tenure as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) further showcased his visionary leadership and administrative acumen. He initiated and implemented transformative projects that redefined the physical and socio-economic landscape of Abuja , providing housing, infrastructure, and a renewed masterplan for the nation’s capital.
As the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, now serving his second term, Senator Bala Mohammed has continued to demonstrate remarkable commitment to people centered governance. His administration’s urban renewal projects, massive investments in road infrastructure, housing, education, healthcare, agriculture, youth empowerment, and civil service reforms have repositioned Bauchi State as a model of inclusive growth and sustainable development in the North-East subregion.
Beyond politics, the Kauran Bauchi is a compassionate humanitarian, a bridge-builder and advocate of unity, peace, and progress. His contributions to nation-building reflect his belief in Nigeria’s collective destiny and his desire to leave enduring legacies of development and leadership excellence.
As he turns 67, the government and people of Bauchi State join family members, friends, associates and admirers across the nation in celebrating a visionary leader and quintessential public servant whose life remains an inspiration to all.
We pray that Almighty Allah continues to bless him with good health, wisdom, and strength as he continues to serve humanity and our dear country with distinction.
