The swearing-in ceremony took place on Tuesday 24th March, 2026 evening at the Government House, Kano, where the Governor charged the new chairman to discharge his duties with honesty, dedication, and a strong commitment to grassroots development.
Governor Yusuf emphasized the importance of effective leadership at the local government level, noting that the success of governance largely depends on the performance of elected officials at the grassroots.
He urged Hon. Hardworker to justify the confidence reposed in him by the people of Kumbotso by prioritizing their needs and ensuring inclusive development across all wards.
The Governor also assured of his administration’s continued support to local government councils in delivering dividends of democracy to the people.
In his remarks, Hon. Ali Musa Hardworker expressed gratitude to the Governor and the people of Kumbotso for the trust placed in him, pledging to work tirelessly to improve the welfare of the residents.
