As part of the ongoing visit in People Republic of China,Gov Uba Sani of Kaduna State,has today in Beijing, visited the China Communication Construction Company where he was graciously received by the Company (CCCC), led by its Vice President (International), Mr. He Yu.
The visit featured a comprehensive tour of several landmark projects the company has executed across China and beyond; projects whose scale, precision, and technical finesse reaffirmed our confidence in CCCC’s global reputation for excellence. In their discussions, Mr. Yu He noted that Kaduna was the first official Nigerian delegation to be hosted at the company’s headquarters.
He expressed deep appreciation for Kaduna State’s confidence in CCCC, particularly with respect to the groundbreaking $200 million mega poultry project.
He commended the administration’s bold and coherent development vision, reiterated the company’s support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, and assured us of CCCC’s unwavering commitment not only to delivering the project on schedule but also to deepening long-term investment partnerships across other critical sectors of Kaduna State’s economy.
Also speaking, the Director-General of the Nigeria–China Strategic Partnership (NCSP), Mr. Joseph Tegbe, also lauded the administration’s decisive approach and steadfast commitment to actualizing this transformative initiative.
He acknowledged Kaduna State’s consistent developmental strides and pledged NCSP’s continued collaboration with us in accelerating inclusive growth. In his remarks, Gov Uba SaniI conveyed his administration’s profound admiration for CCCC’s engineering depth and global footprint.
The company has clearly established itself among the world’s foremost construction giants, and I have full confidence that it will deliver a world-class facility for the Kaduna poultry project. I emphasized the need for strict adherence to timelines so that the economic and social benefits can begin to flow to our people without delay.
The Governor also commended His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, for his visionary leadership and the courageous, forward-thinking strategies he continues to deploy in confronting national challenges. We remain deeply grateful for the selection of Kaduna State as the pilot location for this transformative project, scheduled to commence in January 2026.
I equally thanked CCCC for their warm hospitality and the Government of China for their steadfast partnership. Kaduna State remains firmly committed to nurturing this mutually beneficial relationship.
