Gov.Idris Calls for Investigation of Withdrawal of Military From Duty Post At GGCSS Maga

Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State, has called on federal government to investigate the withdrawal of the military attached to Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School Maga, Danko Wasagu local area of the state.

The Governor made the statement while receiving the Executives of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC who visited the state over the abduction of the schoolgirls in Maga, Danko Wasagu local government area of the state

He said, the military personnel were there at that night up to 3:00 am and withdrew at about 3: 45 am which is questionable as they are acting on order or directives which is vary Saddened.

The Governor commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for taking steps towards ensuring that the schoolgirls are rescue as he gives directives to security agencies to strategies more efforts to rescue the students as he also send Vice President and Minister of State for Defence.

He also called on people of the state to intensify prayers in mosque and churches for lasting peace to prevail in the state and the country at large.

Earlier, National President of the NLC, Comrade Joe Ajaero said they are in Kebbi to commiserate with government and people of the state Over the abduction of 25 students of Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School Maga saying that, their hearts are with the students, their parents, people and government of Kebbi State.Comrade Ajaero, prayed for quick rescue of the students by the security operatives.
