In Zamfara state,Governor Dauda Lawal, Thursday evening, hosted governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and other key stakeholders of the Party to a colourful gala night in Gusau, the state capital.
The event, held ahead of the PDP Governors’ Forum meeting, aims at fostering unity and strengthening party cohesion amidst ongoing consultations on national issues.
In attendance are PDP governors, members of the National Working Committee (NWC), former ministers, National Assembly members, and other prominent party chieftains.
Governor Lawal, while welcoming his guests, expressed delight at hosting his colleagues and described the gathering as a symbol of renewed unity, resilience, and collective commitment to the progress of the party and the country at large.
The gala night featured musical performances, cultural displays and toasts celebrating the achievements of PDP-led states and the contributions of party stakeholders to Nigeria’s democratic journey.
The Forum’s meeting is scheduled to hold later today where strategic discussions on party affairs, national issues and developmental priorities are expected to top the agenda.
