…..Inspect Sesame Factory, Modern Market, Empowerment, Attend Cultural Festival in Machina
Yobe State Governor, His Excellency Hon. (Dr.) Mai Mala Buni, CON, is scheduled to commission the Rugar Balarabe project, about seven kilometres from Nguru town, on Sunday as part of activities lined up for the day.
According to the Governor’s official engagement, the commissioning ceremony of the project is slated for 12:00 noon.Upon arrival in Machina,
Governor Buni will inspect the Sesame Factory to assess ongoing efforts at strengthening agricultural value addition and job creation. He will also inspect the Machina Modern Market, a key commercial hub designed to boost local trade and economic activities.
A statement signed by Yusuf Ali Focal person digital and strategic communication said the Governor will further oversee an empowerment programme for beneficiaries before proceeding to the Emir’s Palace, Machina, for the main event.
At 12:30 pm, His Excellency will attend the closing ceremony of the Machina Annual Cultural Festival (MACUP) for the 2025/2026 season at the Emir’s Palace. The festival highlights the rich cultural heritage, traditions and unity of the people of Machina Emirate.
