The Gombe State Police Command has put in place comprehensive security arrangements and strategic deployment of personnel and operational assets across the state to ensure a peaceful and hitch-free Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
As part of proactive measures, the Command has issued a security advisory urging members of the public to strictly comply with all security guidelines.
Citizens are encouraged to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activities, movements, objects, or persons to the nearest police station or other security agencies.
Motorists and motorcyclists are advised to strictly adhere to traffic rules and regulations, while parents and guardians are urged to keep a close watch on their children and wards throughout the festive period.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Umar Ahmed Chuso, mnips, fwc, mspsp, psc (+), has reaffirmed the Command’s unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all residents before, during, and after the celebrations.
In a statement signed by the command public relations officer DSP Buhari Abdullahi said the Command wishes all Muslim faithful a peaceful and joyous Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
